Belarusian Gonzalez hacker accomplice jailed for 10 years
Hackers stole data on 130 million bank cards
Belorus, stole money from credit cards, was sentenced to 10 years in prison. This Sept. 3 Interfax news agency reported.
Court Pershamayski recognized Sergei Pavlovich guilty to theft of property from the use of computer technology, the sale of counterfeit bank cards, as well as storage and distribution of pornography.
The prosecution claims that Pavlovich engaged in the theft of bank details 40 million plastic cards belonging to U.S. citizens. The law enforcement agencies Belorussia journalists were told that before the FBI announced Pavlovich was wanted in connection with the investigation of the American Hacker Albert Gonzalez. The latter is accused of stealing Room 130 million bank cards.

Family members of the hacker told reporters that the court were not computer savvy people. The family intends to appeal the verdict. Mother Pavlovich said: “At first I will return with a complaint to the Attorney General and, if necessary, then I will go even to the president.”
